Description
Position Summary
Works with professional staff members in preparing work papers, trial balances, and depreciation schedules. Position is also responsible for data entry for multiple computer applications, preparation of payroll tax compliance reporting, sales tax reporting, and maintenance of general ledgers for clients. Position could be located out of our Escondido and/or San Diego office locations.

Responsibilities

Prepares journal entries, A/P, A/R, bank and general ledger reconciliations, and all functions associated with bookkeeping for clients.

Prepares sales tax and payroll tax returns.

Communicates clearly with clients using email, letter and telephone serving often as first line of client contact.

Provides timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations.

Full charge bookkeeping and preparation of compiled financial statements.
Qualifications
-
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an accounting firm

Experience bookkeeping in Quickbooks

Ability to work quickly and efficiently, and under pressure

Strong teamwork, analytical skills and attention to detail

Quick learner with ability to work with minimum supervision

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multi-task

Willingness to build skills and grow professionally
